Adsense Experiments (A/B Testing) Guide to Increase Publisher's Revenue
Google Adsense publishers are complaining about the decrease in adsense revenues almost on every tech forum. That was why I published a post last month explaining the reasons of why Adsense earnings have been decreased in 2016.
In this post, I am going to write a tutorial on how you can use the option of 'Experiments' in your Adsense account to increase your revenues up to 200%.
Experiments really work. After learning this tutorial and following this guide will surely help you in maximizing your earnings.

There is already an option in Adsense account to do experiments but unfortunately, some bloggers don't know about this and some don't know about how to use it.
Don't worry, this post is going to guide you all about the Adsense experiments. This method is also known as A/B testing.
So, how A/B testing will be profited for you and how it will increase your Adsense earnings? This testing will let you know the following points:
1. Which Ad units are best performing for your blog/websites?
2. What Sizes would be best for your website?
3. Which categories should be blocked?
4. Which Ad units will perform best for you, Text or Image Ads?
Without wasting the time, now I would like to proceed this tutorial. Well, here are the steps which you will have to follow to complete A/B testing.
Login to your Adsense account.
Navigate to 'My Ads' section as shown in below screenshot. Then navigate to 'Experiments' section.
Now there you will see two options for experiments;
1) Allow/Block Experiments
2) Ad unit experiments
First of all, we will proceed with Ad unit experiments.
1) Ad unit experiments
a) Click on 'Create'.
b) Give name your experiment and write a note. Below screenshot will guide you.
c) Select your original Ad-unit.
d) Make changes according to your need in variation Ad type.
e) Let Google split your traffic automatically.
f) Click on 'Start Experiment'.
g) That is all.
2) Allow/Block Ad units
a) Follow the first two steps same as mentioned in Ad unit experiments.
b) Now, there is nothing to do already running Ad categories. You just have to block the 'Ad categories' in variations section according to your need.To block ad categories, click on 'Add' as shown in belo given image and then click 'Done'. The below given screenshot will guide you in more easy way.
c) Again let google split your traffic.
d) Click on 'Start Experiment'.
e) You have done with your experiments.
Now, leave the experiments at least for 7 days to get more accurate results.
To check your results, do login to your Adsense account, navigate to 'My Ads'>>'Experiemnts' and there you will find the list of your experiments. You can easily check the results of your experiments and take your decisions by seeing and feeling the variations in your Adsense income.
